Erectin is a nutritional supplement that claims to improve sexual performance in men.

By taking two capsules of Erectin daily, you can purportedly get harder erections, increase the intensity of orgasms, and improve endurance, among other benefits.

Does Erectin really work? Or is it yet another overhyped, overpriced men’s health supplement marketed online with dubious claims? Find out today in our Erectin review.

What is Erectin?

Erectin is a men’s health supplement sold exclusively online through Erectin.com. The supplement claims to be clinically proven to support sexual performance in men.

You take Erectin daily – not before sex. With most men’s health supplements, you take it before having sex. With Erectin, that’s not the case: you take it daily just like you would take any supplement.

Although you should be skeptical of any men’s health supplement sold online, Erectin is backed by a 67-day refund policy. If Erectin does not significantly improve sexual performance within 67 days, you will be entitled to a complete refund with no questions asked.

How Does Erectin Work?

The makers of Erectin claim their formula is clinically proven to help you:

  • Get bigger, harder erections.
  • Increase orgasm intensity
  • Last longer
  • Increase control and endurance
  • Improve your ability to maintain an erection
  • Increase your ability to penetrate your partner

Men of any age can develop sexual dysfunction. Some men have poor sexual function due to testosterone. Others have high blood pressure or poor circulatory health. Regardless of the health reasons for your sexual function, however, Erectin claims to help.

Here’s how the company describes the supplement’s methods of action:

“…what makes Erectin really different and more effective than other options is the combination of advanced absorption technologies. This is the “secret” for experiencing great results. These cutting-edge advances in bioavailability work by rapidly fueling your system with our special erection-pumping formula – for great sex, anytime you’re ready.”

Erectin claims to be “clinically proven to help with erectile difficulties because of this rapid absorption technology.”

Obviously, you can find hundreds of supplements sold online with similar claims. Let’s take a closer look at what makes Erectin different from the competition.

What Makes Erectin’s Formula Unique?

Erectin claims to use special technology to help active ingredients pass through your digestive system. That means more active ingredients end up in your system – instead of being destroyed by your stomach acid.

Like many other supplements and drugs available today, Erectin uses an enteric coating on its capsules. This coating protects the active ingredients within the capsule from being destroyed by your stomach acid.

Your stomach acid encounters the enteric coating on the capsule, and the stomach acid gradually attacks the enteric coating. By the time the coating is almost finished, the capsule has passed through your stomach acid into your digestive tract.

That’s when the next phase of Erectin kicks into effect:

“After the enteric coating completes its job, Erectin’s next absorption cutting edge technology kicks in.”

In other words, Erectin protects the herbal extracts, natural formulas, and nutrients within Erectin until they can do their job.

How Erectin Increases Nitric Oxide Production

Many men’s health supplements work by increasing nitric oxide (NO) production. Nitric oxide plays a crucial role in blood flow. It widens your blood vessels, making it easier to maintain an erection.

The makers of Erectin claim their formula “increases nitric oxide production for harder erections.” To do that, Erectin uses ingredients like L-arginine, a popular amino acid found in many bodybuilding supplements.

Most pre-workouts contain L-arginine because it gives you a better “pump.” L-arginine purportedly increases nitric oxide in your bloodstream, widening blood vessels and making it easier to maintain an erection.

How Erectin Boosts Sex Drive

After widening your blood vessels and increasing nitric oxide production, Erectin claims to increase sex drive by 50%.

To do that, Erectin uses herbal extracts like Hawthorn Berry and Saw Palmetto, which has traditionally been used for centuries to increase sex drive.

By widening your blood vessels, increasing sex drive, and supporting other sexual health benefits, Erectin claims to be the ultimate men’s sexual health supplement.

Erectin Ingredients

Erectin contains herbal and plant extracts linked to male sexual health. Here’s the full list of ingredients in Erectin and how they work:

Saw Palmetto: Saw palmetto extract is found in virtually every men’s health supplement available today. Saw palmetto had been traditionally used for sexual function in traditional medicine for centuries. Modern research suggests saw palmetto could genuinely improve libido and sex drive when taken in the right dosages.

Muira Pauma Bark: Erectin contains Muira Pauma bark, which they describe as “the erection root.” The root can purportedly improve erection strength, sexual function, and libido.

Ginkgo Biloba Extract: Ginkgo biloba is found in nootropics, sexual health supplements, stress supplements, and other products. Studies show ginkgo could increase blood flow and improve erection quality and strength, according to the makers of Erectin.

Chinese Hawthorn Berry: Erectin uses Chinese hawthorn berry that “stimulates blood flow,” helping you maintain an erection for a longer period of time.

Tribulus Terrestris: Most sexual health and testosterone supplements contain Tribulus Terrestris, an herbal extract linked to libido and sexual function. It’s possible the Tribulus Terrestris in Erectin could stimulate testosterone production and improve libido.

Catuaba Bark Extract: This is the second of two bark extracts in Erectin. This bark extract purportedly contains “alkaloids that help reduce fatigue and…enhance sexual function,” according to the makers of Erectin.

Other Herbal and Plant Extracts: Erectin also contains Damiana leaf extract, Korean red ginseng extract, Cuscuta Chinensis extract, Epimedium extract, and Black Pepper extract. All of these ingredients have similar benefits, purportedly increasing sexual function and blood flow.

The makers of Erectin claim there have been no reported side effects associated with Erectin. However, they recommend talking to your doctor before taking Erectin – especially if you are on medication or have a medical condition.

Scientific Evidence for Erectin

The makers of Erectin claim their supplement is “clinically-proven” for sexual performance. Typically, that means the supplement has completed clinical trials to verify its advertised benefits.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case with Erectin. The supplement has not completed any clinical trials verifying it works as advertised. The makers of Erectin have not published their research in any peer-reviewed journal, nor have they shared any study results with the public.

Erectin vaguely cites one study where “90% of men” wanted to continue using the formula after trying it once. The company claims that the study was published in the Journal of Urology, the American Urological Association’s official journal.

In that study, researchers gave 78 healthy men Erectin or a placebo over 12 weeks. It was a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial – the best type of clinical trial for a supplement.

The 78 men were between ages 25 and 50. All of the men suffered from mild to moderate erectile difficulties.

After 12 weeks, men in the Erectin group “were having better sex and a lot more of it, too,” according to the official Erectin website. Researchers also observed that “many of the men” improved their ability to maintain an erection, penetrate their partner, and get pleasure from intercourse. The men had a better sex drive, better-quality orgasms, and better overall sexual satisfaction.

Unfortunately, there’s no evidence this study took place. The makers of Erectin do not link to the study, nor do they explain any further details behind that study. We contacted the Journal of Urology to inquire about any studies involving Erectin – and found nothing.

In other words, the makers of Erectin seem to have created a fake study to support their advertised benefits. There’s no evidence anyone has ever studied Erectin to verify its safety or efficacy.

Instead, “clinically-proven” means certain ingredients in Erectin have been studied for their effects on men’s health. We’ll review some of that evidence below.

Certain ingredients in Erectin are backed by science, although we don’t know any ingredients’ dosage. That makes it impossible to compare Erectin to other supplements or scientific studies.

Typically, when a company refuses to disclose dosage information upfront, it means the supplement contains low dosages of most ingredients. We assume that’s the case with Erectin. We know the formula contains 1,140mg of total formula, but it seems unlikely any of the ingredients are found in high dosages.

Saw palmetto extract is found in many prostate supplements. Studies show Saw Palmetto could improve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Other studies have linked saw palmetto extract to sexual function. In this 2013 study, researchers gave men one capsule of 320mg of saw palmetto extract daily, then observed significant improvements in sexual function and BPH symptoms.

In this 2012 study published in the Journal of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics, researchers analyzed the effects of Tribulus Terrestris on sexual function. Researchers gave the herbal extract to 28 males and observed significant improvements in sexual function and sex drive, validating the traditional uses of Tribulus Terrestris.

As WebMD explains, some people use hawthorn extract daily to improve blood flow or treat sexual dysfunction. Research suggests hawthorn extract could lower blood pressure and cholesterol, supporting your cardiovascular health. Increasing research is validating these effects, which means hawthorn extract could genuinely improve sexual function.

Erectin contains similar ingredients to most men’s health supplements available online, although several unique ingredients aren’t as common – including Cuscuta Chinensis. Cuscuta Chinensis has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for sexual health for centuries. Some research validates its use. In this 2014 study, researchers gave Cuscuta Chinensis semen extract (yes, semen extract of a plant) to cells and observed a significant inflammation reduction.

Erectin also makes another unusual claim: the company claims their formula is “doctor recommended.” However, it’s unclear which medical doctors have recommended Erectin – if any.

Ultimately, Erectin is filled with ingredients that support sexual function, blood flow, and libido in various ways.

However, it’s unclear how much of each ingredient is in Erectin. It’s also unusual that the company appears to have invented a peer-reviewed study to make itself look safer, more effective, and more legitimate than it actually is.

Final Word

Erectin is a men’s health supplement that claims to improve sex drive, libido, and sexual performance. The supplement uses herbal extracts and natural ingredients to give you harder, longer-lasting erections, among other benefits.

Unfortunately, there’s limited evidence Erectin improves sexual performance. Although the company claims Erectin is “clinically proven” because of a study published in the Journal of Urology, we can’t find evidence that the study took place.

Erectin also has an unclear refund policy. You have 67 days to request a refund, but it seems this refund only applies to purchases of two bottles or more.

Awkward marketing and refund policy aside, Erectin is available to purchase online today through Erectin.com, and it’s possible the supplement could support various sexual health benefits in men.
