New Year’s Eve will present a new year of opportunities for party goers in Orange County this year. From local Irvine-based bars to incredible fireworks at Disneyland, residents in Orange County will have plenty of activities to choose from as they welcome in 2022.

Hangar 24 Orange County

Located in Irvine, Hangar 24 will be opening their doors at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31. Tickets start at $40 for general admission and will be $50 at the door. Guests in attendance will experience live music from Orange County’s favorite country group Redneck Rodeo.

Pretend City’s Annual Noon Year’s Eve Confetti Countdown

While adults will be celebrating the beginning of 2022 a few hours later, Pretend City in Irvine is hosting an earlier celebration just for kids. Pretend City’s Annual Noon Year’s Eve Confetti Countdown celebrates the new year in different time zones, as the sun travels across the sky. Gatsby’s House NYE at Pasea Hotel and Spa

Celebrate New Year’s Eve as Gatsby would at the Pasea Hotel and Spa in Huntington Beach. Wear your best flapper dress or zoot suit to celebrate 2022 in style with DJs Peter G, Richard Wayne and special guests. Tickets start at $179, doors open at 9:00 p.m. More information can be found here.

Back to the ’80s New Years Eve Party

The Biergarten inside Old World Huntington Beach is taking it back a few decades with a return to the 1980s, with a live performance from the ’80s cover band The Reflexx. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., tickets and parking information can be found here.

New Years Eve 2022 HEAT Ultra Lounge

The Anaheim-based HEAT Ultra Lounge is hosting a traditional New Year’s Eve countdown on Friday, Dec. 31. Tickets range from $30 to $1,500. OC Best New Year’s Eve Bash 2022

Legacy Nightclub and Lounge in Newport Beach is hosting an All You Can Drink event to welcome in the new year. Doors open for early check-in at 8:45 p.m., with the event starting at 9:00 p.m. VIP bottle service, complimentary champagne showers and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Fireworks and New Year’s Eve Countdown At Disneyland

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 and will host a New Year’s Eve Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks Spectacular at 9:00 p.m. and midnight. The park will also be hosting New Year’s Eve countdown celebrations in Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Main Street U.S.A. Advance reservations are required.
